twin birthday celebr8n @ tgif, subang parade on 22 dec 06

!!TWIN HAPPINESS!!
date: 21 dec 2006
... was Wan Shahreen's 29th bday (she perasan she's the youngest amongst us all blechh :P) and Sofea Iman turned O.N.E!
YAY to both!
...may Allah bless u now and always...
click

jay to the bee to the singa to the pore!

my wkend wonderland (23-25 dec 06) was spent in jb & s'pore. best la jugak, not a bad trip.. i'm a bit poorer now but am all smiles from the stuff that i got. plus the lover got me a pair of super coolness birkenstock sandals (never heard of 'em before this. but when he voluntarily said he'd buy them for me, i quickly grabbed the opportunity! haha)

kak yaya (the elder sis inlaw) took a ride with us back to jb. departed from ara at around 11am and arrived jb at about 3pm. the kitties (yes, we brought them along) were restless at first but were quiet all the way down north. good cats! sampai2 je, we got the cats out, got our bags sorted, makan sikit, and then we shot off to holiday plaza for our supply of cheap dvds (read: pirated - muahaha - can the police catch me by taking this as my testimony? shite).

and that's when i saw the sunnies.

no lah, actually i've seen the sunnies 2 months ago but that time i didn't have money on me so only now i'm buying them. i mean, bought them. as i said to my larvelly grils, i am SO ready for the sunny beaches of langkawi!!! (if the clouds from johor don't fly over to the north, that is).

>>fastforward to xmas eve day - the s'pore escapade.

left home at 11am and arrived at the customs at 12noon. first and foremost, we went to the zoo! mr. want-to-relive-his-childhood was the one who wanted to go so much (tapi he told everyone that he's bringing me, the first-timer. choy! u people know i'm SO not a nature person right?) well, his intentions were good. kasi chan lah.

no need la for me to story what happened at the zoo ya. there were animals animals animals. and also humans humans humans. what else. i got loads of photos though, just to show my enthusiasm to the lover.. little did he know the 2nd hour into the zoo roaming quest, my mind was already on shopping mode! :D

>>snip to orchard road scene.

arrived the city at 4.30pm and parked our car at far east plaza, the last shopping mall on orchard road with the cheapest parking rates. walked over to ck tangs and arrived right when the doors were closing (@ 5pm for xmas preparation). kak yaya and i were devastated cos we wanted to look for cheap nick-nacks. but we moved on quite quickly from there...

next stop: wisma atria. this shoe shop, charles & keith, have lovely shoes and handbags! candy store no. 1. i spotted a pair of wedge shoes and booked them in my head. walked on further for other things first, who knows there could be another pair of shoes that's waiting for me :)

we crossed over to takashimaya after that where they had a giant xmas tree, found nothing to buy, then went to robinson's and found 2 nice and cheap handbags - for dinner and work/play. i'm wearing one of 'em now hehe.

and we found the birkenstock sandals when kak yaya said she wanted to check them out if they had any good discounts.. i ended up with a pair and she, none. thanks hunny bunny! muah :)

>>fastforward to dinner at takashimaya's food court.

their food court is full of people. singaporeans don't cook i think. they all come out to have dinner at the same effing time. sheeshh.

we had to wait for people to finish their food, i mean, literally wait behind their chairs. well, that's a normal scenario u might think, right? but in singapore, every freakin table has someone waiting for them to finish up their food and ciao so that they'd get the seats for themselves. crazy i tell u.

so anyway, when in rome, do as the romans do right? i waited on this couple who was finishing their grub. i hated doing it cos i hate the feeling of people waiting for me to finish eating, but i just had to if i wanted a table to eat on. kak yaya waited at another table so that we'd split our chances and get a table faster. the couple i was waiting on was eating their food so fast it's a wonder they didn't choke on it haha. towards the end of their meal, a kiasu singaporean aunty came over and stood behind the boy's chair (i was standing behind the girl's) and spoke to the girl in chinese asking if they were about to finish their food bla3. and when the couple got up from their seats, the fucking aunty put her fucking plate of mee goreng on the table as if i was invisible!! WTF? i maintained my calm and told her that i was waiting there for a long time already. she had the cheek to ask the boy "is it true?" in chinese, to check if i was telling the truth like dat. WTF??? lucky the boy said "ya ya she waited long time oredi" with his mouth still half full. how rude was that aunty?!! baskets full of shit - she's rude! then she said "oh sorry ah i didn't know" - what the fuck didn't u know? what the fuck is that brain of yours doing? don't tell me u didn't know, come on, i'm not fucking invisible, there's 53kg of me standing right there. u were just blatantly cutting my line, that's all u were doing. don't say sorry to put yourself in a better positon in my eyes, cos u're NOT.

i don't mean to be racist or ethnocentric, but these singaporeans are so fucking rude!!! most of them lah... maybe some are nice, but i haven't met any yet - hence my biased interpretation from my own experience.

after dinner we wanted to get back to wisma atria and walk over to our car park. the scene at orchard road was phenomenally crazy! every inch of the earth was covered with people. at one point, we were forced to press our bodies to the person behind and in front of us. i was between kak yaya and the lover, so takpe lah my own hubby sondol aku. imagine if i was behind him and another guy was pressing his manhood on my ass, mucho gross! i'm getting goosebumps from the thought of it now *stop it*. for a good 10 mins, we had to walk like penguins in that sea of people... kak yaya said she almost suffocated cos she's short and other people were towering over her.. poor thing.

all in all, i shopped till my legs went wobbly. walked from one end of orchard road to the other end and quite happy with the things i got for less than S$100. i yam a good bargain hunter, yes i yam :D

>>snip to scene at the malaysian custom at 10.30pm.

bonda pesan for us to buy some persimmons in singapore. so we put the fruits in the boot naturally. when we arrived at the customs, this young customs officer (a girl of no more than 26 years of age) interrogated jim on the fruits. u see, the fruits' brand name was "sharon" - coincidentally the name of israel's president/PM or whatever.

WTF????

in my condemning the singaporeans, let me add to that list of stupid and rude people - this fresh from university person i shamely call my own saudara melayu & Islam, is so ignorant and she's trying to show her authority with my husband by saying idiotic things like that. plus, she totally ignored the fact that malaysians are polite to those older than they are.. jimmy is obviously older than her, she can even see his IC no. in his passport, but she was so desperate to show her gila kuasa-ness that she forgot the rule of thumb in customer service - never argue with a customer. isn't the government striving for better customer service in this day and age? yet there are still a few of these hooligans yang terlepas kandang. B.O.D.O.H.

i am very humiliated to have fellow malaysian citizens like these and i know there are MANY out there like her. i've encountered them myself many many times.

marah tak if u were me?

in the end, jim just brushed off her stupid comments and she let us off with a stupid warning. she can shove her warning up her fucking asshole.

***

we left jb yesterday at about 4pm and arrived home sweet home at 8ish... the cats were sleeping soundly throughout the journey, amazingly... we must've drugged them before we departed hehe.

moral of the story: never get yourself in a bind with the customs officers. they're a bunch of kiss-assers and gila kuasa buggers.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE, YO! :P

**can't wait for langkawi this wkend!!**

not the best one

ok let's move on to lighter things in life... like movies yay!

last night went to watch Eragon as promised by the lover (rm6 movie tickets, who can resist?). i was so anticipating to watch it in the day that i forgot to bring a shawl to protect my delicate bones :P actually, he told me that we were watching it at tgv so usually tgv's theatres aren't as freezing as gsc's. the moment we pushed the heavy cinema doors, the cold hit us in the face. and when we sat down OMG it was like 5 degrees celcius, i'm telling u i'm not kidding! throughout the whole movie we were shivering no matter how much we hugged each other *gilos*

aaaanyways, since this is my blog, i can write whatever i want right? so i want to write (read: grumble) a movie review from my lopsided POV.

*****

they have a semi-stellar cast. that much u can say.

mr. eragon himself - was cute as a button, but too cute to be a farm boy (come on, are there any real handsome farm people? if there were, i'm sure they'd have realised their good looks and made their way to the city to become models already, right? otherwise rugilah).

also, mr. eragon is a newcomer actor lah. his acting was, to put it shortly, stiff. when he cried for his dead uncle, i couldn't feel his grief. his face didn't scrunch up (maybe he was trying to maintain his good looks while crying - sod). if only that other actor didn't turn down the offer of eragon... *thumb & index fingers shaped in L on chin & nodding*

eragon's relationship with his dragon, saphira, can make me cry in a bad way. i couldn't feel anyfuckingthing between those two (but wait). plus, saphira's voiceover talent, ms. rachel weisz (nama sebenar), was not the right choice in my opinion. i also couldn't feel the lurve between dragon rider and beast like how i feel watching 'never-ending story' or 'dragonheart' (now those are good dragon movies). what i felt watching eragon and saphira was disturbing me down to my pants, i thought eragon was gonna DO saphira (u know, DO..?) - the script between the two left a bad after-taste in my mouth *ewwwwwwww*

princess arya pulak - pretty girl, flawless skin, great bod - everything i hate in a girl (cos i nak jadi mcm tu but can never be in a million years). she also cannot act lar.. she doesn't carry that regal presence a princess should bring, u know what i mean? i thought she was just a warrior from the amazon. and even so, she didn't look warrior-ish enuf, u know what i'm sayin? she was too pale and too skinny for it. selalunya women warriors sure got big jugs spilling over their tiny costumes, she only had 50 sen nasi lemaks je u know (maybe i watched too much xena the warrior princess & hercules hihi).

brom the desolate veteran dragon rider whose dragon died in the hands of the evil morzan, helped a bit in unraveling the story. morzan stabbed a sword, the only sword that u can kill dragons with, into brom's dragon while it was defending his rider. anguished and full of vengeance, he set out to kill morzan and succeeded. but brom died halfway through the movie. bosan ah.

galbatorix the evil king was played by john malkovich. he is an otherwise brilliant actor but in this movie his role was much downplayed. all he did in the entire show was give orders to his sidekick-cum-subordinate, durza the shade (shades are evil warlocks). OMG i'm not kidding, that's all he did! kalau tak caya, gi lah tengok sendiri.

pastu si durza ni pulak, he had a creepy face i tell u. kudos to the makeup artist for making his face so scary like dat (or maybe he already has a scary face kut, i dono hihi). he's the most powerful guy in the movie, killing his drones with just a fingernail (yes, just a nail!). what i found funny was, the king si galbatorix tu didn't show any of his magical powers at all, instead he showed his weakness for losing his "stone", ironic eh? if i were durza, with so much magical power in me, i would overthrow the king and take over the throne. instead he trembeled at the king's wrath (wrath je, takde bunuh2 pun?) and followed his orders buta tuli. maybe galbatorix hasn't shown his true colours yet (there's a sequel fer sure ok).

saphira wasn't the most main character but if the movie is about dragon riders and their dragons, she should be one lah kan. but as bad scripting goes, saphira's importance to the whole story was not emphasized. and remember the bad choice in voiceover talent? that didn't help at all. then again, the name of the movie is eragon, so can't do much la.. nevertheless, a cute baby dragon, saphira was :)

the "thing" between eragon and arya - i thought there was smthg, but in the end turned out to be nothing. mucho boring. no kissing kissing oso. what the hell...?

then there was this out of the blue character, i can't even remember his blardy name. he was the son of morzan (the guy who killed brom's dragon). he suddenly helped out eragon in his quest to kill durza and save the varden's village from the king's army. tak paham laa...

conclusion:

maybe i should read the book............. but the idea of watching a fantasy movie sexcited me so much and it all went downhill when the acting sucked. eragon's body languange also didn't appeal to me. like i said, he was focusing on maintaining his kehenseman till the credits rolled.

stiff stiff stiff. i.hate.stiff.acting.

(i only like one thing stiff *wink* teeheehee)

*****
would i recommend it? maybe not.

would i watch it again if it's shown on astro? maybe yes.

is it a good dragon/fantasy movie? not the best one i've seen.

if i were the scriptwriter or director: i'd be ashamed of myself.

*****
i know i'm a fussy critic. but that's why i'm only criticising the movies and not making them :)

sekian tirima kaseeh.

credit card debt woes

as i may have said in a previous post, i'm on my way to financial freedom and i'm so glad that my husband helped me out greatly in decreasing my credit card arrears after we got married.

but before that, i was living off my credit card like nobody's business. my pay was only so much but i had to maintain a certain lifestyle, so the credit card was an answer to my prayers. but i was up to my eyeballs in debt by the time i was 24! obviously stressed from it, i thought i was the only one in the world facing this problem. but when i shared it my frens, they then told me they were facing a similar fate.

not only in Malaysia does this phenomena happen, it is more rampant in developed countries. in the UK, credit card holders have become smarter on how to reduce their debts by using the balance transfer facility offered by many banks, for instance. i, too, have taken this option and have reduced a great amount of stress and also avoided an angina :D my last payment on this balance transfer is this month-end and i've already cut up the zero-balance card - good riddance!

but that's not the only path to choose to settle this problem. u don't really have to be credit card-less to be financially free because sometimes, u actually do need a card. all i needed was credit card wisdom...

sometimes i think the devil himself invented the credit card. but sometimes, having at least one can save you trips to the shrink ;) (read: retail therapy)

so i'm just gonna cut to the chase and make your life easier. if u don't want to feel alone about having a credit card debt problem, u should read these CREDIT CARD NEWS. u'd learn a lot from them caucasians :)

and if u're really looking for an end to your financial misery, try getting very sound CREDIT CARD ADVICE - how to reduce your credit card debt, how to save money with a credit card, how to make money with a credit card, and many more. u can then apply any of the advice to yourself.

happy debt-busting! :)

PPP

so there u go... my blog has been approved by payperpost (PPP) and i'm on my way to making some minor side income :)

if you're a regular blogger, then u can join in this money-making wheel. i always say, kill two birds with one stone. and now, i can (1) express my thoughts on things in this blog of mine while (2) get paid for it.

yes, get paid!

u know how u sometimes inadvertently talk about for eg: a pair of shoes that u bought from manolo blahnik. u go on describing the shoes in painful detail to another girlfren - how they look like: colour, material, height, extra features; and how it makes u feel wearing them: confident, happy, flattered by the stares u got from many men, the when the where the hows, whatever. in the marketing world, this is termed as word of mouth (WOM) advertising. and almost all of the time, u don't get paid for it like nicole kidman gets paid for endorsing the Chanel No.5 perfume. after all the emotions u've put into the description, u get zero monetary gain except the fulfilment u feel for sharing smthg with someone. nicole's doing almost the same thing as u are - creating WOM. but hey, u're not nicole kidman right?

but if u were on PPP, u get to blab about it and be compensated for! (much much less than what nicole's getting, of course ;)

so *breaking into song* doncha wish your bank account was hot like mine? :D

p/s: go to PPP for more info.

girl power-ed by boy

this is an email forwarded to me by a fren. written by an XY, to be shared with the XX community... this is good help for those lost souls who put their everysinglething into the relationship they're in and lose their individuality along the way.. thanks to this wise guy (no pun intended at all) who actually listed these down for us to heed.

IF A MAN WANTS YOU

  • If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
  • Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
  • Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.
  • Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that's not meant to be.
  • Slower is better.
  • Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
  • If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends". A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend. Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.
  • Don't stay because you think "it will get better". You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
  • The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
  • Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you any differently?
  • Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
  • Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you.
  • If something bothers you, speak up.
  • Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.
  • You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within.
  • Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are.... even if he has more education or in a better job. Do not make him into aquasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less.
  • Never let a man define who you are.
  • Never borrow someone else's man.
  • If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you. A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.
  • All men are NOT dogs.
  • You should not be the one doing all the bending... compromise is a two-way street.
  • You need time to heal between relationships... there is nothing cute about baggage... deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship.
  • You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you... a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals... look for someone complementary, not supplementary.
  • Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.
  • Make him miss you sometimes....when a man always know where you are, and your always readily available to him - he takes it for granted.
  • Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need. Keep him in your radar but get to know others.

after reading this, someone will SMILE, another RETHINK her choices, and another woman PREPARE.

Blue is a gentle kick in the butt (even for me too)... Red is full-on in-your-face alert.

i miss the datin diaries

why hasn't datin diaries been writing or updating her blog? i love love love her way of writing, simple yet cool. and to read aboout an elite someone and know that they're just like the rest of us - they feel sad, happy, scared, indifferent, excited, etc - about the same things as we do is very refreshing.

i hope she's ok...

-----

my wkend

had a karaoke session over the wkend. it was fun fun fun!!! must drag my frens along lah one of these days.. it's a damn good stress reliever i tell u :)

also had a day out with my old buddies... haven't seen them for a long time. i really miss the days when all of us were single... nothing holding us back.. no one to answer to except the parents.. now, everyone has either a hubby or a baby to take care of... it feels very limiting for some reason - the husbands calling every hour asking when are we coming back... i never had to answer to anyone, even to my parents.. so now it feels weird. i can't say i like it, but i can't say i don't like it either... it's nice to know that someone cares about u and calls just to see if u're ok while having a good time with your frens. maybe it's a way for them to say that they miss us? or maybe they're just jealous that we get to go out but they have to take care of the house or the baby or other business.. too bad then. u have your time with your frens too right? it's not like we limit your mobility after u married us...? sheeesshh.. give us a break.

to husbands or would-be ones - let us have our girls day/night out once in a while. u have yours too. and the responsibility of taking care of the house/baby does not solely lie on the women's shoulders. u didn't marry us so that we can become your maids.

oh ya, will post pix of these soon. i'll have to figure out how to transfer the images from my phone to the pc - a big feat to an IT illiterate like me :P tungguuuuu...

-----

another monday, another set of blues..

i'm hungry, and sleepy.. i haven't been having the best of sleep for the past 2 freakin months. my asthma has been attacking me everyday since raya. i've been reduced to using the inhaler every fucking day, and each day i have to use it almost 10 times. unless i remain calm, i will get a tightening in my chest.. my lungs work overtime to give me air and after getting a puff of ventolin, air will flow in me freely for a short period of time and my lungs will feel very tired.. then if i laugh too vigorously, i'll get it again.

then last night, i felt like a bump on my right booby. i thought they were just tender from pms but when i tekan-tekan, i felt like a lump underneath the underarms. maybe it's just lumps of fat, but it could be smthg else too right? now i'm scared... i had an aunt who passed from breast cancer, but she was an aunt from my dad's side.. is it the maternal aunts who u should be scared of or even the paternal ones too? shit man. i'm so fucking scared now. i told the lover about my concerns this morning and he promises to bring me to the medically-skilled. i have to go and surrender myself to them real soon.

-----

dating day

we're gonna go watch Eragon this wednesday. *digressing* did u know that both of us are Wednesday Babies? i.e. we were both born on a wednesday. so it's only super that our dating day is a wednesday too :)

so anyway back to eragon. we both love fantasy stories like this - with the dragons and the magic and shit. supernatural stories also intrigue us, smthg that's bigger than the life or place we live in.. the grander scheme of things. it makes us feel small and humble and appreciate the meaningless lives we lead :P

-----

an academician can't rule a country

i have one point to grouch about - the toll increase. what the fuck is the old man doing ni??? since he went into office, every fucking thing has been going on the up and up, and not in a good way. not to us citizens anyway. cost of living in kl is getting way out of hand and it's not balanced by a hefty salary pulak tu. how do the people obtain a quality of life when everything is about money? we are a very money-driven society, not just in getting it, but also the showing-off of it. everything else is compromised in the pursuant of the green, even our own health and family time. i am starting to get fed-up of this trend. it all goes back to one thing - mismanagement of the government.

what is to become of this country?

some more musings...

*
when u love, love completely. u wouldn't want to deny your loved one of your true self...

when u love, share completely. do not give everything. giving consequents taking. when one gives more than the other, one will start keeping score. keeping score is not healthy. when the scale tips heavier on one side, there'll be some explanation to do.

*

i'd like to join this payperpost thingy to get some money out of blogging. might as well make it worthwhile since i'm here writing my thoughts away everyday, right? payperpost pays u for writing about their advertisers' products/services/etc. i can simply write about these things too, well, the ones i know of anyway. i got to know of this from this guy's blog. seems too good to be true - getting money to do the things u like doing, it's as if it's free money! i'll check it out later.

ok i'm done.

the light is at the end of the twisty-turny tunnel

The Scientist - Coldplay

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are.
I had to find you, tell you I need you,
Tell you I set you apart.

Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions,
Oh lets go back to the start.
Running in circles, Comin' up Tails
Heads on a science apart.

Nobody said it was easy,
It's such a shame for us to part.
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be this hard.
Oh take me back to the start.

I was just guessin' at numbers and figures,
Pulling your puzzles apart.
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart.

And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start.
Runnin' in circles, Chasin' up Tails
Comin' back as we are

Nobody said it was easy,
Oh it's such a shame for us to part.
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be so hard.
I'm goin' back to the start.

*****

no, we're not separated. nothing in connection with the lyrics above.. i was cruising back from lunch and this song was playing on the radio. very poetic (i'm a poet at heart).

anyhoo, all is well now folks... thanks for the support and words of wisdom/encouragement.. very the dramatic was the pujuk session. sweet also when i come to think of it... pulled me on his lap and hugged me until i lost my breath. and he cried. what a bonus! (i have a thing for crying men ;)

for better or for worse

I, (Bride/Groom), take you (Groom/Bride), to be my lawfully wedded (wife/husband), to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.

awww... how sweet. such a sentimental vow, looks like it covers almost all of the aspects of a marriage.

but does anyone really abide by it? i mean, really follow thru with it? especially on the for worse bit?

can u really tolerate your other half on bad days when u have an argument? most of all, is it bad to argue?

i feel that arguing is a way of getting to know him. and him getting to know me. but what if he doesn't feel that way? what if he feels that arguing is just not natural or normal for a human being to do? to him things should be a bed of roses all the friggin time, well not all the time lah, but mostly he would like it that there be no friction at all, whatsoever. how do u deal with a person like this? someone who lives in his own ideal little world in his head and hopes that what he wishes will somehow magically transform into the real world? aku jadi transformer la macam ni.

and what about compatibility. is there any 2 people in the world that's 100% compatible with each other? if there is, i'll be son of a gun. sane and wise couples would not harp on this incompatibility issue and they learn how to deal with their differences as they get to know each other along the way. but not this man of mine. he amplifies it and makes it into an issue of its own. come on lah. first of all, we were born from different wombs. then we were brought up differently by different parents who also have differences between the 2 of them. values and thoughts and opinions and all that make us what we are, are definitely different. right? so if u really love your other half, u'd at least make the effort to learn about each other's differences and deal with them. right?

but he doesn't get it.

do u quit the relationship or deal with it, move on and hope that u will actually get to death do us part?

i can't be the only one defending this union anymore...

memories

no, not that kind of memories. i'm talking about my memory that's totally left me!
how can i forget someone else who was my roomie in ppp altho it was only for a short spell?
KAK NORESH!
yes, she was my roomie after yasz left for the states, right kak? and she was also my senior in ssp and was the cool prefect! yes we have history :) (no she didn't demerit me until i went dry ;)
so - hey there how are u, hope u're fine. heard that u've been in brief contact with kayun about her housing loan. how's bad? hope everything's fine and do share your blog if u have one. thanks for reading mine. they're totally notorious thots aren't they sometimes? oh well.. i was always the rebel and the outspoken one. blame our school for that :)
glad to hear from ya!

introducing... the chatter box!!

my dear fren diana did her magic again and inserted a tag board on the left side of my blog. but woe is me, my office firewall denies me access to the tag board.
so she did another thing - there's now a brand spanking new chatter box (beneath the disclaimer)!
THANKS AGAIN BABE! love ya :)

observations...

as promised, i went shopping yesterday. stayed the whole day at the golden triangle area and my parking meter was RM14.50. not bad.

shopping aside, i made some observations of many things...

***

i was looking for a bra and i specifically informed the salesgirl that i was a cup C. the salesgirl (a rather aged woman) said she doesn't have it so she suggested cup B. i said how can i go to cup B when i'm a cup C? that's just wrong. and then she said for cup C and above, there's only a few designs to choose from, buried deep down in the bin. u know how the designs looked like? the ugly ones lah - skin/brown colour, ugly shape, even my aunty wouldn't wear them. so i looked at the salesgirl and said "do i look old to u?"

at another bra counter, the salesgirl (another old one) handed me a cup A. what the hell is wrong with these people? no wonder they work as salesgirls all their lives.

***

i finally dyed my hair to brown black. it looks mostly black to me. well maybe in the sunlight u can see a tinge of brown. but i like it nonetheless, i look fairer and my teeth look whiter haha. ez said my hair looks healthier now *that's the look i was going for in the 1st place! yay to ez for getting it right* and kayun asked me if she should dye her hair too.

dye it before u die (pun intended). u only live once ;)

***

why is it that parking lots are monopolised by one race in malaysia? i was thinking, if i had a plot of land, i'd convert it into a parking lot - seriously. can u imagine if it was in kl, i'd make millions! then i can retire with a huge smile on my face and a big fat bank account :)

let’s do the math for eg: the parking lot beside heritage row. in the day, they charge office people RM3 per entry. on weekday nights, they charge party goers RM5 per entry. on weekend nights, they charge RM10 per entry! and the land is not small. at any one time, it can hold i think up to 500 cars. on one weekend night, the owner of the land gets RM5000 untung bersih ok! where got major overhead to pay for except the minimum wage of his kulis yang actually take care of the parking lot, right? no need to pay for electricity, no water bills, no telephone bills and many other no's. even if there is, it'd be too trivial to talk about. so... imagine lah wei.

u gotta have a dream, right? so does anyone know how to go about this?

***

my boss is also a gemini. some geminis u can instantly click with, but some are hard to understand. i mean, did i not say that i am the ultimate geminian? i am the definition of what a gemini person should be. but he is somewhat of a different creature than the ones i'm used to. maybe i only know women geminis eh? maybe men geminis are from mars, just like the rest of 'em. he puzzles me, he really does.

***

i love love love christmas songs. they make me hum and sing along and i feel instantly happy. i should get a cd of xmas songs lah. but i don't like the modern ones, the old ones are the best. where can i find this? it was a good thing that the malaysia sale is in conjunction with the year-end festivities. so the shopping malls were full of the jolly old xmas songs. people were looking at me funny when i sang along.
*
*
*
oh ya this is another annoyance. is it a bad thing for someone to be singing to themselves in shopping malls? i don't sing loudly, i mostly hum. but i always get stares from other pedestrians. is it bad that someone can actually be happy? is it bad that a person can actually express their happiness through singing? is it bad to sing at all?

there were these 2 kids and their mother who were obviously staring at me while i sang and hummed and trying on some shoes at the same time. what the fuck is she teaching her kids? to be rude?

staring is rude, by the way.

***

i ran out of moisturiser so being the faithful and loyal Olay user, i looked at the new total effects for blemish skin range at Watson's. as i was reading the label on the box, the promoter girl came up to me and started her speech and gave me advise on which moisturiser to go for and how to take care of my skin bla3. her skin was flawless (albeit a bit dark) so i was actually mesmerised by her. but u know what? beautiful skin is not enough. i looked at her teeth and i knew what she had for lunch! major yucks!! i almost said to her "dik, memang betul kita nak kulit kita cantik, tapi gigi tu pun nak kena jaga".. hehe i didn't at the end cos she gave me a free starbucks voucher for purchasing the moisturiser *thanks ya dik ;) lain kali boleh bagi lagi*

***

will i stay in this marriage long enough to see our kids get their own kids? or will i just be another figure in the divorce statistics?

i'm losing faith. God help me... what is my destiny? :'(

....uni days....

pre-braces days - don't freak out on the vampire teeth, if u can see it. and check out the eye-brows, very unforgiving lah my genes.
my first 2 years roomies, yasz dah fly kot masa ni, or she wasnt around, or she was the camera person :)

ADP Convocation 1997, almost 10 yrs ago. i was effing thin back then man :S
5 June 1995 - registration and first day of induction at PPP/ITM, Shah Alam for the ADP3 batch. first 2 year's roomies were Rina, Raja Jurina, Yaszrina, Hazrin, Intan Nahariah. Intan moved out soon after and Amylia came in.
6 June 1995 - Rina's birthday. i think i also started calling her "Chik" somewhere around this time. i dono why i called her that, maybe cos it started as "makcik" or smthg... now it's stuck on her haha.
1997 - convocation and the heart breaking news that business students will not be able to fly to the States. i've already accepted my attendance certificate from USC, California and the gut-sucking news just broke my heart into a thousand pieces. i suffered from fever for 2 weeks after hearing it, and cried for almost 7 months. u see, my lifelong dream is to go to the States. i still want to. but now i've landed on level ground and if i'm fated that i can't go (due to financial reasons), then i'll accept it. but back then, fuyoo. u just don't know how much i cried.
so then, i continued my degree with PPP/ITM. the next 2 years' roomies were Rina (again? aren't u bored of me chik? hehe), Sikayun, Sonya, Shahreen and Lina. Lina left for the States shortly after so there was only the 5 of us. with the addition of ezria, we've stayed frens since back then and these people have become my support system, sisters, buddies, whatever u may call it.
1999/2000 - received my Honours Degree in Marketing, 2nd upper class. during my time, to get 1st class u'd have to get 3.75 cgpa and above, i wasn't that smart lah. i only got 3.4 *terrer jugak aku ek? hehe* but who cares what cgpa u got when u graduated (except if u're an employer hiring a fresh grad lah). what matters most is what have u done with your life...(?)
life from thereon - not bad. ada ups and downs, normal lah.
***
yasz is now in penang working for motorola. she said she's happy at the workplace, but the island doesn't agree with her taste.
jurina - last time i met her, she said she was with this ang mor (dutch ke swedish) and said that maybe he's mr. right. dono what's happened to her now. babe if u read this, keep in touch lah. email/sms me or smthg. i haven't changed my mobile number u know.
hazrin aka jie - i havent kept in touch with her... not in a bad way though.
intan - her either.
amy also has a blog and maybe i should not be her narrator. go read about her yourself at http://amyzul77.blogspot.com :)
still keeping closely in touch with chik. in fact we email each other everyday together with kayun, sonya, ezria & shahreen. chik is my longest-serving-roomie :) she knows most of the things about me, altho my life is not that much of a secret anyway...
sonya just delivered her first baby 2 months ago. she just got back to work after her maternity leave. juggling as a mother and wife.
sikayun is getting married, well, registring her marriage to glendo(ly)n (hehe) on 21st Dec 06 in sabah (am i right on the date?) and her church wedding will be on this cantik date: 070707. cool huh? technically until the church wedding, she's not married yet altho dah register. but whatever it is, good luck and have fun on your registration wedding! sorry we can't be there...
shahreen works in tnb and she's forever busy. she's got a bf for a year now and she's kept it a secret from us *hands on hips with upset face* why la u keep it from us? how could u??? hehe i'm telling the whole world here.
ezria is the luckiest biyatch of all (in the best meaning of the word, ez hehe). she's not so much of a housewife cos the hubby is forever away for work and she herself doesn't work. but sometimes she flies off discreetly to LA to take up a temporary job from her old boss. and sometimes she goes off on a holiday or follows the hubby on a job abroad... don't take this the wrong way ez - u've got my kinda life =)
***
had fun attending uni... shall keep the memories and the frenships that i've formed for a lifetime.
oh ya, the pix above are courtesy of mrs. amylia abdul hadi =) tenchoo!
ps: ok, from now on kalau nak bagi komen, sila click on the little envelope icon below and just email to me. aku dah tak kuasa nak perbetuikan this blog lagi dah. busan.

early detection of alzheimer's

sometimes when i look at jim, i feel a wave of unfamiliriaty rush over me. like - who is this man in this strange bedroom? is he my husband? really? i'm married? is that how he looks like? who is he? i felt like that last night. masa nak tidur, i felt like - is this the man i'm supposed to sleep with every night?

i'm not kidding ok. it's like i tak kenal his face, tak kenal dia langsung. takut ok.

i'm a candidate for alzheimer's lah and i'm scared. maybe i just need to take smthg to improve my memory? i'm already taking pharmaton, it has some ginseng extract in it which is supposed to be good for memory.. or was it some other thing? aiyoooo how laaa...

what i'm most scared of is that i won't be able to recognise the faces of the people that i love the most.

or is it because that jim and i haven't even known each other for 2 years pun? macam too sekejap like dat terus dah kawin? aik? macam culture shock tau.

u know what i mean?
maybe u don't :(

nothing much after lunch...

had lunch with onny and heidey, treated him japanese for his belated bday present ie yesterday.

***

on another topic, i like reading books, i don't love it. i say this cos i only read when i have the mood to. i am moody, u know (but not with frens, only with loved ones, which is a bad thing :S ). right now i have a few books that i bought previously when i was in very high (reading) spirits, but halfway reading them my mood seemed to disappear. so there are several books beside my bed that need to be re-read (dah lupa dah what the stories are about).

so anyway, while jim went to extract his wisdom tooth yesterday, i went to ampang point to have my late lunch.. after that, i happened to wander into popular bookstore and i was browsing the latest books there. i found an interesting one titled: Hex and the Single Girl - it's about this witch who uses her powers to matchmake strangers with each other and she gets paid for it. the book was was cheap so i bought it.

i love stories of paranormal activity. i loved watching Charmed and when they did those magic stuff, i was wishing i could do the same hehe (my secret wish is to have magical powers :).

***

this sunday the hubby has made a plan for us to go watch deja vu with his frens. i said ok to this cos i'm gonna be spending the whole day on monday shopping at Isetan, Lot 10 with me girlfrens! it'll be a public holiday for us who work in selangor so yay to the sultan for having his birthday on a monday teeheehee we can skip the monday blues altogether and snigger at KL people for having to slave off on a day that we don't have to. now where is it that i can park without having to pay a bomb for it there? *scratching my head*
***

i also people-watched yesterday. i like to observe couples in shopping malls. i always wonder how they met, in what situations did they meet, how did they fall in love, did they encounter any problems, do they fight, do they still love each other, etc etc... i saw this couple with 2 kids who were buying tickets to watch Happy Feet (i knew what they were watching cos one of the kids was wearing a penguin costume hehe so cute). the wife was taller than the husband, and they weren't much lookers. but they were wearing matching coloured outfits and instantly i knew that they are in love even after 2 kids...

i always wonder how God pairs us with our other halves. some people that i see don't match each other at all in the looks dept but i'm sure they are compatible and complement each other in other ways.. i know i shouldn't pull a shallow hal and think that the only thing that matters is looks, but isn't it important? sometimes i see a couple, the gf is a damn good looking chick, but when i put my eyes on the bf, masyaallah, muka tak siap langsung. what is it that pulled them to each other?

whatever it may be, it's definitely not paranormal... or could it? some desperate people can always use charms/black magic to lure the person they like to like them back.. like in my new story book. or it could be that one of them have the lure of the green (read: money). we do live in a material world now kan... sigh, that's even shallower than hal.
***

i need a new hobby... this blogging is my current pastime. i am seriously thinking of taking up knitting. i found a shop that sells sewing supplies in ss15 and heidey said there's another one in ss14. supplies are already near, why haven't i launched the hobby yet? i used to knit in school. i remember the feeling of knitting - i like it :P

maybe i'm just bored.

later we're bringing chipsikel to the dr again. cute chipsikel, poor chipsikel, fiesty chipsikel =)

movie review: Luff...

...translated into CINTA.

it is SO (quadruple emphasized) much better than anything directed by yasmin ahmad ok - all the sepets and the gubras can't compete with this movie. directed by Kabir Bhatia (who the hell is he/she? never heard of pun but he/she sure can make a movie!), it is similar to Love Actually where it tells the story of 5 couples - be it gf/bf, frens, husband/wife or brother/sister - and the ups and downs that they go through in life but all connected by one simple and most common thread - love.

they say that yasmin ahmad's movies are the depiction of the true realities of the malaysian community - mixed marriages, HIV, prostitution, etc - but i think yasmin ahmad did more of self-indulgence in her shows. she likes to portray herself in the movies more than anything else.. in short, she's telling the story of her own life.

so it's obvious that i do not like yasmin ahmad the tranvestite-who-had-a-sex-change-operation (did u know she used to be a MAN? literally? ewwww). he/she's so screwed up, man. however, her/his ads for petronas are damn fine! like i told my sis inlaw, he/she should stick to making ads - short little movie-like 30-60sec shows. 2-hour movies are just too big for him/her.

ok enough digressing. i want to talk about each character in the movie.

the actors are:
- Nanu Baharuddin
- Rashidi Ishak
- Sharifah Amani
- Fatimah Abu Bakar
- Dato' Rahim Razali
- Que Haidar
- Rita Rudaini
- Pierre Andre (my personal fave ;)
- Eizlan Yusof
- Fasya Sandha

nanu: oklah, so so the acting. but the ending was heart-wrenching as well as unexpected. sob sob.

que haidar: firstly, what's up with the name? but he's oso oklah. i can't say anything spectacular about him, maybe cos i am indifferent towards him. he's a serious actor, that much i can say.

eizlan yusof: dah gemuks la this mamat. and major receding hairline. but cute just the same. acting wise, he's alright.

fasya sandha: i don't really fancy this girl - on screen or real-life. she seems to me to be a tad perasan lawa. she is lawa, but the fact that she acknowledges it is a turn off. i would actually prefer Fazura to take the role instead of Fasya. she's more natural and not pretentious. plus, her fluent english is a bonus, fasya is quite the melayu.

rashidi: i've liked this guy since he was in dead mushrooms. never heard his music though haha. just liked the face. he can act, this guy. his "story" in the movie was my favourite. i think the girl acting as his daughter in the show is his real kid. vanida even made a cameo appearance at the end. cute giler. i hope this real-life couple will stay married until one of them dies (please break the celebrity-marriages taboo, pleeeassseeeee).

rita rudaini: the bitch of the whole movie. left the hubby for another guy, when he's an angel. sucks big time. she was quite stiff in acting too. i dono, i just don't fancy this girl (hehe very biased review innit?)

fatimah abu bakar: mak si sharifah amani ni. she can always act, i've watched her act since back then lagi. i salute this aunty.

rahim razali: i've also liked this actor since Abang '92. so needless to say i have nothing much to complain about him.

sharifah amani: kononnya malaysia's sweetheart. i beg to differ lah. i never liked her and i dono if in the future she will startle me with some kind of fantastic acting, but for now i have to be biased. she acts like a little girl in most of her movies - with suara kecik macam baby, and then buat memek2 muka macam cute2 gitu... ish tak kuasa aku nak tengok. maybe guys love it lah, the manja2 type, but sorry, not me. I however can act like a baby with my hubby, that's in private so it's ok lah. but this girl acts like that for the whole world to see, i think that's just wrong. 'nuf said.

pierre andre: saved the best for last. this guy has a cute lisp when he speaks, which makes him imperfect and i like him for that. his acting is always with passion. but too bad for him, he always seem to get the quiet-but-romantic-guy-who-gets-the-girl-in-the-end characters. maybe he should be given roles of a bad boy pulak. then he can expand his skills :)

one more actor - gambit: he acted as khalif in the movie. mucho BAD acting. wins bad acting award hands down. BUT, such a beautiful boy. cute nak mampus.

*without revealing too much of the movie, the firm that rashidi and nanu works in is called dyanharris. rashidi is harris. so someone with the same name sitting next to me nudged me a few times and was beaming so proudly - instant fame la konon blechh*

storyline-wise, super. continuity of the story as a whole was well presented. it didn't leave the audience confused or perplexed (like with yasmin ahmad's movies). all it left me personally was with tears uhuk uhuk.. (mr. hubby didn't want to cry so he hugged me very tightly hehe).

all in all, a must watch! and bring lots of tissue ok :)

pick me up before u go go

in 100 forwarded emails, only 2 or 3 are good.. and this is an example of a good one.

*****

We all need to read this one over and over until it becomes part of who we are!

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Try everything twice. On Madams tombstone (of Whelan's and Madam) she said she wanted this epitaph: Tried everything twice...loved it both times!

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down (keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches ;)

3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.

6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.

Lost time can never be found! Life is what you make it, so make it great!!

thanks Kay, this is a good pick-me-upper :)

mis-conceptions

i've got pregnant frens who complain of aches and pains and sleepless nights... and i've got frens and a sister with kids who often lament of sicknesses and again, sleepless nights... i'm not scared of facing this imminent phase in my life... in fact, i'm looking forward to it. but i'm quite glad that we are childless for the time being...

it is always better to court for more than a year first before u decide to tie the knot but to those who are on the same boat as i - i.e. did not have the opportunity to be in a long courtship, got married soon after u became a couple - it is very much advisable that u do not immediately decide to have babies becos u don't really know the person u're marrying.. so take the time to really discover each other for who u really are as individuals.. get to really know your spouse's behavior, actions & reactions, habits, thoughts, values, and other things that attracted u to him/her in the first place. if u put a baby in the equation sooner than u should, then thereafter it'll only be about the baby and not about u or your spouse. your individuality is lost in the background and that'll be the main ingredient for a bitter stew called resentment.

don't underestimate this feeling - resentment. many people don't even know what it means, but they certainly feel it at one point or another. and it can grow into a bigger monster if it's not given the right remedy. when your spouse puts all his/her attention and thought to the newborn, u will feel a tinge of jealousy whether u like it or not. without knowing the real intention, u will already resent him/her for neglecting u. if u had only taken the time to get to know your partner, u will know that he/she only means well..

maybe i'm wrong about this, but this is what i would feel if i had thrown myself into the baby-production pool sooner than i'd like. but since jim and i have made the decision to take it slow, i am very glad we did. at least it gives me time to recollect myself, to prepare for the pregnancy and birth, to slowly change my mindset to that of a mother's who is responsible for another life. these are huge issues to deal with and many people fail to think of it. even the would-be father has to think of his bigger commitments after having another mouth to feed, so taking it slow would give him the chance to prepare for fatherhood.

i feel that many children are brought up wrongly due to mis-conceptions... couples who don't plan to get pregnant and so they weren't prepared for it. becos of the poor preparation, they would bring up their child poorly - with too much or too little of everything. this often results in poor quality kids.

whatever it is, do not take lightly the getting-to-know-each-other-as-a-married-couple period. this is the time when u can set the rules of conduct in your marriage, what u expect from your other half pre- and post-natal.

i will be 30 next year and although there are many health risks with having your first baby at this age and beyond, i have no regrets. i learned about the man i married and i love him more for who he is now more than ever. with this strong foundation, i am very confident that he will be a good father and i can't wait to bear his child when it's time.. when is it time? we're trying to conceive after our 1st anniversary in march. hopefully we'll have a beautiful baby by end of 2007...

i can't wait to see how our offspring will look like! hope that he/she will take after my cuteness (haha perasannnn) and the daddy's character :)

quote jimmy harris: i'm back in business! =D

yes he is! back in business i mean. what business? that's for me to know and for u not to find out lah :P

PD was fab! it was a very good wkend break with the family. the apartment we stayed in was bad though. please do NOT go to Paradise Lagoon Apartments (beside Corus Paradise Resort - this Corus is heaven compared to the one we stayed at). there were so many flies it's not funny! macam dekat Somalia siot. flies were in our apartment no doubt, on the sand pun ada! in fact, they sort of hang around on the sand in the thousands at this one spot and they looked like one big black "thing" - ewwwwwwww mucho disgusting! jim said they also want to lepak on the beach mah - ya very funny ha-ha. imagine them on u - urrghhh sooooo grosssssss.

but besides that, it was one of the best family get-togethers we've had. we laughed a lot, played with each other, teased one another - it made the old folks happy to see that their children and their spouses are very happy to be with them.. the trip was actually the siblings' birthday present to umi together with a cake, while walid gave her cash. how "romantic" is my father :P

see the photos.

we swam in the beach and the Corus' pool.. no doubt i was the most happening girl there (hehe) with my proper bathing suit on.. others were wearing t-shirts and shorts and tights.. what's the point of swimming in a pool if u're gonna be all covered up? defeats the point if u ask me. however, my (not so very) pious dad scolded me lightly to "tutup aurat" - b.o.r.i.n.g. i said to him - it's a vacation, lighten up (not exactly in those words but to that effect hehe anak kurang hajar a.k.a tak makan saman betul).

and also, gypsie came home with stitches yesterday on her tummy. poor thing was still groggy when we brought her back but she's got the spirit of a midget tiger.. when the anasthetics wore off, she was back on her feet and playing with panda. now gypsie can't be harmed by the many rapists prowling outside our house. hooray to modern medicine!

well anyways, i don't have me a tan but my heart is warmed from the banter with the family. it's so nice to be with people who have the same history as u - u don't have to explain much and they automatically understand. u can be your most disgusting self and they will still accept u no matter what. i was very disgusting by the way - farting here, burping there, and more - but they don't care. and i love them for that :)

on the radio now: ...let's make lots of money...

i have not one ounce of spirit to do any work at all today, although there are some work that should've been introduced to the 'out' tray weeks ago. hell, i didn't even dress for work properly..

it's raining cats and dogs outside and i'm cosily sitting at my cubicle away from annoying bosses and workmates. what would make it perfect is a hot cup of cocoa... mmm yumm. tapi takde cocoa la pulak, it's either the teh kurus or boring old milo. hmmph.

the song that's playing on my internet radio now is "hero" by mariah carey. ya ya she's singing of a hero deep inside, so when i feel like hope is gone i should look inside and be strong cos then i'd see the truth and realise that a hero lies in me... bla3. SO not the right song for me right now. i'm singing "i wanna go home" in my head to the tune of are u sleeping:

i wanna go home, i wanna go home
go to sleep, go to sleep
show me where the road is, let me make my way there
home sweet home, home sweet home.

next monday the PR dept will be receiving an intern and she'll be designated under me, basically i'll have to be her mentor lah. aiyakkk.. so leceh one. eric my s****d boss didn't even bother to interview her before agreeing to take her in. what the hell. this girl is the admin exec's sister, so on that grounds, eric accepted her just like that. we don't know jack about her. i asked sidik, the brother, the other day whether she can drive and he said she can't! oh dear me. how la to work in an automotive company and not know how to drive? some more want to be in the PR dept... we do a lot of driving tau. now there's a nagging thot at the back of my mind that says maybe she can't even speak english (cos i've never heard the brother speak a word of it). shite! ok ok calm down, let's not panic. don't judge someone before even meeting her lah. i'm gonna prepare for the worst but expect the best *crossing fingers*

it's such a slow day. i can count how many emails i got since morning. the grils are so quiet *what up wei?* went out with kayun last nite for her wedding dress' fitting at amin jauhary's shop in pertama kompleks. we were supposed to go to his 1Utama shop but smthg came up and yada3 we had to painfully go to kl in the prime hour of traffic jams. luckily she drived (hehe sorry yun, i couldn't have done it).

rina's so quiet (dah stop keja ke belum dia ni?). ez's gone mia again. shahreen-the-jet-setting-tnb-prez-wannabe is just too bz, sonta sonata is bz taking care of baby chloe and maybe preparing to start work again next week after her 2 month long horiray. i'm too lazy to chat so i'm just waiting patiently for the time to pass.

tonite we're sending gypsie to the vet for her spaying. mama's little gypsie will no longer be a woman when she comes back home nanti, poor ting. then, we're going to uptown to do some cat supplies shopping, some eating, some banking, and maybe some bonking later on (at home lah) hehe.

by this time tomorrow we'll be in port dickson! yippie! i'll be enjoying the sea and the sand from afar hehe i'm more of the sun- rather than the sea-bather.

i hope it doesn't rain as bad as today. kalau tak, rugilah... kasian the kids :'(
